Description The Jay Haide Superior cello is hand-made of quality seasoned maple and spruce and has a tone quality and workmanship normally found in instruments costing much more. The Superior model is made by more senior violin makers with finer quality aged wood for musicians requiring the best tone quality. Every Jay Haide Superior cello is setup and finished off by our Luthier. We usually fit Larsen medium strings which work very well with the Superior cello. However, customers can specify any choice of strings to suit and we will fit them during setup.
