Description Aloe Vera Juice is the juice extracted from the inside of the Aloe Vera plant. Unlike the gel-form Aloe Vera, this is a watery liquid. Aloe Vera Juice has soothing properties and contains skin-loving antioxidants and vitamins. It’s a common ingredient in a wide range of bath and body care products, including creams, lotions, serums and haircare products. Ingredient Type: Humectant Derived From: Inner gel of the Aloe Vera plant Colour: Light Amber/ light yellow to green; clear liquid Texture/ Consistency: Non-Viscous, Fluid/ Watery Liquid (i.e. Not thick/ sticky). *This is a watery liquid, not a gel. Smell: Minimal to characteristic of our; light herbal smell. Solubility: Water Soluble PH: 3.5 to 5.5 Storage: Store in a tightly sealed container, in a cool and dry place, away from air/ heat or freezer. Keeps longer when refrigerated. Shelf Life: 18 months, if properly stored Uses: For formulation of creams/ lotions (moisturizers), serums, bar and liquid soaps, bubble baths, shower gels, shampoos and conditioners, hair moisturizers, hair styling products, facial masks, and more. Usage Rate: 3 to 100% [For Cold or Hot Process soap making: use as up to 100% of water replacement for a creamier lather]. Formulation Notes: Add to water phase of your formulation Using Aloe Vera Juice as 100% of your water phase may cause your formulation to be unstable, and this can be controlled if you use a Chelating Agent. *NOTE: This (Aloe Vera Juice) is not the same as Aloe Vera Gel. The texture of Aloe Vera Juice is not sticky; it is watery. *NOTE FOR FORMULATORS: Due to its high electrolyte level, Aloe Vera Juice can affect the stability of a formulation. A chelating agent can help with the stabilization.
