The little pocket on the front holds a gift card or money for gifting giving. They also look festive sitting on a shelf or displayed in a bowl or basket. Our kit/pattern combo comes with the pattern, red and green fabrics to make two little trees, and two pieces of rick rack (one green and one red) for the trim. We stuffed our trees with polyfil.
